When customers call us here at LINE-X of Austin, the
most common question we are asked is "How is LINE-X better than other
spray-on liners?" We are always glad to respond.
A spray-on bedliner
is a very important investment,
and it's PERMANENT!

High Temp & High Pressure Application Process:
No Runs, No Sags
A Perfect Finish Every Time.
LINE-X uses a High-Temperature (160-170 F) High-Pressure (2000-3000
psi.) application system, which causes the polyurethane material to dry
instantly, resulting in a uniform distribution and thickness of
material. Most other spray-on systems are applied cold (room
temperature) at a lower pressure, which takes several minutes (or even
hours!) to set. This can allow the material to run or sag on vertical
surfaces in the bed of a truck.
The LINE-X Hot/High Pressure system provides a very
uniform and eye-appealing factory-like finish. Other spray-on liners
have textures with rain drop, cottage cheese, or spackled wall texture
appearance. When you come by our store to see and feel a
LINE-X bedliner we think you will agree that LINE-X is the best looking
liner you will ever see!
Research and Development:
Our Unique Polyurethane Formula.
LINE-X is the only spray-on bedliner company that develops and
manufactures its own materials. In January of 2001, the LINE-X
manufacturing factory was purchased from The Burtin Corporation by
BASF. This acquisition guaranteed that LINE-X products would be
developed and improved by the world's leading chemical company. The
research done by the chemical engineers at BASF ensures that we can
provide consistent and reliable products with unparralleled quality
control.
The LINE-X polyurethane formula provides
extreme, durable protection. All polyurethane liners
have two main components, a hardener and a polymer/resin. Most spray-on
formulas have a rubbery feel, which has a tendency to tear or gouge
when sharp or heavy objects are moved across the liner. LINE-X uses a
1:1 ratio of hardener to polymer, which yields a tougher, more durable
liner. LINE-X liners provide extreme protection and are less likely to
rip or gouge under heavy use.

Although most reputable spray-on bedliner companies offer a warranty,
